Pregnancy Pains

A couple weeks ago i started feeling pretty uncomfortable :( . I have mentioned to my physical therapist a few times that my inner right hip has been hurting when i walk on it, I have pain in my muscles all around my pelvic area, figuring its round ligiment pain. I told him that my hip clicks when i walk..and when i lay down it takes a few minutes of extereme pain to get on my side. I can’t turn from one side to the next without holding my breath and clenching my teeth in pain. Just moving my legs apart hurts a lot. He made me lift my leg and said that my muscle was ok, that it wasn’t strained but its most likely my ligiments but to have my orthopedic doctor take a look. I will see him on the 1st. Its getting so painful. I can sit without hurting. Getting up to walk omg. So, I went searching online for some clues on what might be going on. I found an article about Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. I fit almost every sympton listed. All I know is that I will soon be sleeping downstairs in theliving room because as of yesterday the pain was so bas I had to use my hands and feet to walk up the stairs like a child. I can’t tell you how much it hurts :(

I had to get that off my chest. I wouldn’t pray this on anyone.

    Have you looked in to it maybe being the sciatic nerve? I had this nerve pinched when I was pregnant with my twins and it hurt like hell. It is somewhat common thing to happen to during pregnancy, I believe. You are also getting closer to that 29 week mark where all shit hits the fan. Your belly reaches capacity and starts making other plans.

    Don’t I sound like a doctor tonight?

    I hope you get some relief. My thoughts are with ya. {{HUGS}}

    Hey Melani :) I found a great article that says exactly my symptoms. Here it is. I looked at the nerve you mentioned and I don’t have any of the symptoms they wrote about.The doctor is putting me on bedrest in 2 weeks..haha i’m in for a ride :D Thank you though for your help!

    Chelle… I used to be a labor assistant so maybe I can help.

    Try doing pelvic rocking (get on all fours and let your belly hang…then round your back…then hang again). This may take some pressure off the nerves that are being pinched.

    I feel so bad for you…but I can relate!

    I had Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction from about the third month when I was pregnant with my daughter, she was always so low that it hurt to roll over, stand up, climb the stairs…do just about anything. My mid-wives at the time didnt think anything of it, though I mentioned the pain at almost every appointment. Years later when I was pregnant with my son, I didnt get that pain untill about the 7th month.

    I hope that you are able to get some relief from the pain. it is sad, but I know exactly what you are going through. Good luck!
