Can you say Tired??

Since Alan went back to work Friday I have been so freaking tired. Alan leaves at 3am and returns home around 12:30pm. We get up every 3 hours to feed the babies , change their diapers, then I have to pump for 20 minutes. By the time all is done I have a little over an hours sleep left before I have to do it all over again. Tonight Alan let me get 3 hours sleep, thankfully.

The babies are doing well. Eatting a lot, pooping, and spitting up …baby stuff. Kira’s heart moniter went off today and yesterday whle eatting, scared the shit out of me.  Last week a woman at work I know had some people from her church bring us dinner Tuesday and thursday night! I was so shocked and thankful!! No ones ever done anything like that before and I really appreciate these strangers taking the time out to help us!!

I need to catch some Zzzz’s. Go check out my renter this week.  The T Stop.

Aw, girl, I’m so glad you got an ounce of sleep. And if I were any closer, I’d bring you dinner, too! That was so great of your co-worker’s church!

Good lord, I can’t function if I go to bed 2 hours later than my bedtime! I can’t imagine not sleeping!! It is nice when people take time out to help another person. That little act can mean so much to someone who is overly tired, and stressed!!

  4. Jenn says:

awe you poor thing!! I wish I could come help you out!!
That’s so great of those people to do that, I’m sure it was a big help!!

I got tired just reading this.

That is great they are doing so well. Things will let up in about three months and sleep will come more regular. Hang in and sleep while you can! That was nice of the church to bring you dinner. Wish I was closer as well to help you so you can sleep or even shower! I never got a shower until my husband got home and could take over with the twins.

I remember those days when I was up all night with my baby. The nursing, the pooping, oh, man. It’s a lot of work but totally worth it. They grow so fast, before you know it, they will be sleeping all night.

I’m glad the twins are doing well. I know how you feel about the monitor. Haleigh’s goes off a lot, even when nothing is wrong and I get so scared! I can’t wait until she’s off it, and I’m sure you feel the same about Kira.
That was nice of Alan to let you get 3 hours of sleep. I’m dealing well with getting at least 5 hours of sleep a night. I couldn’t imagine how you must feel – it must be very exhausting.

I’m glad to hear that everything is going well.

When Jonathan was born we had a couple of people offer to bring us lunch/dinner, and it was nice. I know I didn’t feel like cooking or cleaning for a while after he was born, and he was only ONE baby.

  10. Lali says:

 So glad to hear about your twins and yourself! Yes, things get tough during the first 3 months and the rest will be sailing
Hang in there! Be thankful for others to help you with dinners and such. Take care:!:

I remember lacking sleep when my son was a newborn… but 2 babies is so much different. I feel for you. I know how tired/exhausted you must be. Poor thing. But I’m glad the twins are doing well :)

That was nice of them to bring you food. It must’ve been a relief to not have to cook. Some people are definately very thoughtful!
