Merry Christmas

xmaz

Wow, the time is almost here!!!!! Im so excited and I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas. My brother wasnt able to make it cause he bumped his flight and then they couldnt get him here until after Christmas :( I will hopefully see him next spring break. My Mom and step-dad have been here a couple days and have had Taylor all to themselves. I got some more shopping and wrapping done and I can’t wait for Christmas morning when the kids face light up when they see whats under the tree and in their stockings. Were going to have an awesome dinner cause my parents are awesome cooks!

Last night I met a girlfriend for the first time after talking with her online since Taylor was a few weeks old. Its so cool cause she is 14 weeks pregnant with twins…I think its so wonderful :) Next week shes bringing her daughter and Mother over to see the twins.

The babies caught a nasty stomach virus last week and Kira is starting to get better. Aidan is doing a lot better now.

Just a catch up..Need to get to bed cause we have a lot of baking to do and everything else!

Love ya!!!

I haven’t been up to much this week. last week I went out a few times and tomorrow Im supposed to go out with some friends. Alan is really cool when it comes to me having a night out with friends. Alan will be going to the Broncos game in a couple days and I wished I could go…I also want to go inside the new Cardinals stadium. Its freaking huge!!! It was named the top NFL stadium! Its also hosting Super Bowl XLII in 2008 :) Id LOVE to get some tickets. Heres a pic with details! It just opened this year.

Very excited!

Ok, so I was feeling pretty bummed cause its hard to find a job working nights and make decent money. My very awesome friend came over one night and told me to apply for the company she used to work for. Well, she filled it out while I answered, hehe! I had a phone interview and follwed with the 2nd interview last week. I LOVEDDDD everything I saw when I was there during the tour. I was hoping that I would get the job cause they pay VERY well, great hours, and i’ll have my own desk! I got a call this morning and they offered me the job, 40 hours a week and they offered me more money than the starting wage. I will be making more money than I ever have with Albertsons in the last 11 years. Im sooooooo excited. The only bummer is that the 5 week training classes start Jan 22. I can’t take the day classes so the night classes arent until then. Ill be working 5pm-1:30am! perfect hours! I’ll I can say is YAY!!!

Taylors 4!

Poor Taylor woke up this morning asking if she was still 3. I told her, no Tay, its your Birthday today and your 4!! The poor girl started crying because she didnt want to let 3 go.

Its Ms. Tay’s 4th and I can’t believe it.

Kira had her ultrasound and x-ray yesterday to see if she had Kidney Reflux and she does. On a scale of 1-5 of severity her left kidney is a 2 and her right one a 3. Hopefully she will grow out but theres a possability she could need surgery. Heres a little info I copied.

Each kidney has a tube called a ureter. Urine leaves the kidneys via the ureters and enters the bladder for temporary storage. There is a valve at the meeting point between each ureter and the bladder to prevent the backflow of urine into the kidneys.

Kidney reflux means that one (or both) of these valves is not working properly. During urination, the urine travels (refluxes) up the affected ureter to the kidney instead of flowing out of the body. This increases the likelihood of infections and other problems. Most cases of kidney reflux are discovered during tests for frequent urinary tract infections. It is estimated that kidney reflux is responsible for around one fifth of all kidney (renal) failure that occurs in children and young adults. Kidney reflux is also known as vesicoureteric reflux (‘vesico’ means bladder).

I had an interview yesterday and tomorrow I go back for a 2nd interview. If I get this job my training will start in January. The pay and benefits are pretty damn good. Cross your fingers!

I need to get stuff ready for today.
