Florida Vacation

I finally went on my vacation to Florida and saw my old friend Laura. It had been about 10 years since we saw each other and honestly when i was with her it seemed like it was yesterday. Her and her husband spoiled me and we had a blast!!! My flight there was good..I arrived and she greeted me We went outside and had a cigarette while waiting for my luggage..Got my stuff and drove to her house. I have to say that living in Arizona we never see water. There is so much there I want to move!!!! We arrived at her house and then we just caught up and went to bed. On Monday Laura took us out and we got our hair and nails done!! The next day we drove out to St. Pete. They got us a hotel room room on the beach at the Don Cesar Beach Resort. This place is luxury.Here is a live web cam of the beach where we stayed. The first day we went out and sat in the ocean and threw seaweed back and forth at each other. That night we went down to the bar and had a few drinks. I was messed up after having one mile high martini. I ended up having two and the cute bartender let m,e have half an ounce of Louis XIII de Remy Martin. He could have gotten fired. For one ounce it is $120.00. The bottle is only $2000.00 Laura said he was flirting with me so he gave it to me..I dont think so..he was smoking cute. Anyway…the next day Laura’s parents came out to the beach with her son and I got on a jet ski with Mike, her hubby. We freaking fell off and I was swimming as fast as I could screaming..”sharks, oh my god sharks!!” It was so much fun. I got a sun burn and we went back to the room and cleaned up.

We went out to dinner at a Sushi steak house. I had been craving seafood all week. It was cool watching the chef prepare our meal at the table. So…we go back to the hotel and relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. Laura and I walked out to the beach and talked. The next day we went down and grabbed some starbucks at the ice cream shop downstairs and left the resort. We headed to IHOP and had some breakfast. We then headed to Laura’s and grabbed showers. We headed to the mall and I bought Laura some birthday presents and we then left and got ready to celebrate her 30th birthday at Melting Pot. I had never been and wanted to go for years but never made it. We had a wonderful dinner and I gave Laura her presents. We then went out to some bar and had a few drinks. I ended up staying up till 6:30 am talking to Justin all night. At around 930 I woke up and we headed out to Busch Gardens. It was freaking HUMID!!!!! I got on the Shiekra roller coaster with Mike and Laura’s mom. That think was scary!!!! 90 degree drops! Don’t laugh when you see the pic..lol. After we got on a ride where you get soaked. I was in heaven after getting drenched. We all went down to sit in the shade and Laura’s grandmother got ill and we ended up calling an ambulance. She was in the hospital for 2 nights.She is ok and im so thankful. We were all scared. The next day was my last. Laura and I went to her sister in laws for her baby shower. I was in charge of taking all her pictures. It was very nice and then Laura took me to the airport. Time went by to fast. I will upload pics so enjoy I go to work tonight so Im not looking forward to that.
